GERMANY – PATRIOTIC BRACELET – TRENCH ART – MADE FROM THE DRIVING BAND OF AN ARTILLERY SHELL
Patriotic jewelry came in a wide variety. Often that came in the form of trench art where useless its from the trenches was fashioned into a wide variety of items among them were vases, pitchers, ashtrays and jewelry.
Today we offer a bracelet which has been fashioned from the driving band of an artillery shell. The bracelet breaks open to be placed on a wrist. Inside the bracelet there is a small plaque which mentions in memory of the World War 1914/14. On the outside of the bracelet there is a small Iron Cross.
