GERMANY – PATRIOTIC PIN – IRON CROSS MOURNING PIN
This is a very high quality patriotic Iron Cross pin which was issued as a mourning pin. Mourning items are far scarcer than traditional items. Clearly a loved one has been lost in battle. It is circular and measures 1” in diameter. The basic background is a matte enamel. In the center, in a more lustrous enamel, is an Iron Cross. The pin is ringed with a fine lustrous black enamel. A quality pin on the reverse completes the pin.
