Description
Discover a rare find from our recently acquired collection of items from the Imperial German Navy (Kaiserliche Marine). These trousers hold historical significance as they are the much rarer summer weight variation, crafted in pristine white cotton. While the collection primarily consists of tunics, we are pleased to present these trousers issued to enlisted men and NCOs.
These German trousers feature a button fly, secured by five small buttons, ensuring a comfortable fit. On the right side, you’ll find a small change pocket for added convenience. Additionally, belt loops have been added, although it is likely that the sailor made this modification rather than the depot. Upon inspection, the interior reveals markings indicating “1912” and “1.C,” providing insight into their production and origin.
Remarkably well-preserved, these trousers exhibit only a few stains, with no signs of moth nips or significant damage. Should you wish to display them on a mannequin alongside our tunics, they would be perfectly suitable for that purpose.
We invite you to inquire about these trousers and explore our accompanying items. By contacting us, we can provide you with a special price offer, allowing you to curate a comprehensive collection that captures the essence of this historical era.
Embrace the opportunity to own a piece of Imperial German Navy history, meticulously preserved and ready to be part of your military memorabilia collection.
