HESSE-DARMSTADT – SHOULDER BOARDS – GENERALMAJOR
This is another curious and first time offering from Der Rittmeister Militaria. It is a pair of shoulder boards for a Generalmajor from the Grand Duchy of Hesse-Darmstadt.
These are a very early pair off shoulder boards and would date to 1886 or before. They are quite large and may have been used on a great coat. They are of the slip on variety and both have the slip on straps and have a black backing. For their age they are in very good condition. These are the earliest general shoulder boards that we have ever offered.
