IRON CROSS – 1914 – 1st CLASS – VAULTED
This is a vaulted 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class. The obverse’s paint, although complete, is “spidery” looking. The cross’s reverse displays a swollen pin. No hallmarking appears, either for a manufacturer, or for silver content. From the look of the Iron Cross, I would say it is a late-war example.
