Description
This is a postcard of the small cruiser S. M. S. Augsburg. She was one of the four ships of the “Kolberg” Class. She saw extensive service in the Baltic in operations against Russia. She was delivered to Japan after WW I. The ship was scrapped in the Netherlands in 1922. She is seen steaming under the bridge at Levensauer Hochbrücke. The postcard was never mailed.
