This is a large-format book that measures 11 1/4″ x 9 1/4.” It is a Time Life Book, published in 1980. Its nearly two hundred pages tell the story of flight during WW I. It is liberally illustrated in both black and white, and color. A lot of information about the airmen and the airplanes of both Germany and the allied powers is included. It is a good basic book that serves as an excellent introduction into WW I aviation.
