Description
This is an original photograph that measures 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2.” I find it quite interesting as it shows an observation balloon’s camouflaged hanger. The hanger enabled the crew to keep their balloon inflated and protected when not in use. It saved them time (and gas), keeping their balloon ready for flight. If you look in the hanger, you can see some of the balloon’s extra gear. A penciled description is on the reverse.
