Description
This is a large-format original photograph that measures 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2.” It shows an observation balloon in the field. Her ground crew is gathered under her. The balloon either is ready for its launch or has just been reeled in. It is a cold winter day with a lot of snow on the ground. The reverse has a penciled description of what is taking place. It is dated 1915.
