This is a wonderful, English-language book that explores the Imperial German Army’s final massive offensive in the spring of 1918. The Germans, British, and French had been hammering at one another for nearly four years. Fresh troops from the USA now were approaching the Western Front. The German High Command realized if Germany wanted to win the war, they needed to break the Allies before the fresh troops arrived to turn the tide. It very nearly happened, but the Allies prevailed in the end. The book recounts the action. It was released in 1999. This illustrated copy is in MINT condition. It comes complete with dust jacket.
