This is an extremely high-caliber, silver letter opener, featuring a representation of the Holstentor in Lübeck. The letter opener measures 9 3/4″ in length. It is hallmarked for .835 silver (along with the crown and moon) and the manufacturer, whose mark I do not recognize.
