This is a matted photograph that depicts one balloon. The matted photograph measures 8 1/4″ x 6.” The actual photograph housed within the matting measures 5″ x 3 1/8.” A large group of army officers is gathered around the balloon’s gondola. The photograph dates from early in the 20th Century.
