This is a matted photograph that depicts two balloons. The matted photograph measures 6 1/4″ x 7 3/4.” The actual photograph housed within the matting measures 4″ x 5 3/4.” A large group of men is watching the proceedings on what appears to be a testing field. The date 19 April 1901 appears at the matte’s bottom.
