Description
Memorial cards were quite common in Germany for mourning fallen soldiers. This one is quite elaborate. It measures 6 1/4″ x 3 3/4.” It opens up and has a special message to the family Meyer. The date for this is 26 August 1916. It has a black tassel attached to its front cover. It is signed inside by the Ritter family.
