Description
Memorial cards were quite common in Germany for mourning fallen soldiers. The example measures 3″ x 5 1/4.” The printing on the card is embossed, and we see a pickelhaube. If we look closely, we see that the pickelhaube comes from the Kingdom of Württemberg. This card does not open up like the others. It has the condolence written on its reverse.
