Description
This is a very interesting miniature Pickelhaube for a Prussian Artillery Officer. It features the Prussian head plate, round ball indicating an Artillery Regiment. It also has the chinscales of an Officer. What is really interesting about this piece is that it is painted glass and the colors black, gold, and silver. I can’t tell if the front visor was ever painted or not but clear glass is present there. The bulk of the rear visor is painted. The detail to this piece is of average not exceptional quality but it sure would make a neat desk piece! It is 2 ½” high, 2 3/4″ in length, and 2″ wide.
