Description
This is an incredibly detailed miniature of the Southwest Africa Combatant Medal. The decoration was given for action in Southwest Africa during the period of 1904-1906.
The miniature measures 3/4″ in diameter.
The medal is suspended from a correct ribbon. On the ribbon is a marvelous miniature Spange for Heroeroland. A pinback is on the reverse. I have never seen a miniature so detailed.
This is a little gem for you Colonial collectors.
