Description
This is an original photograph that measures 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2,” which is slightly smaller than a postcard. We see a balloon that is being prepared for flight. The bag is partially filled. You can see hoses running from the support wagons that are filling the balloon with gas. Supervising the procedure is a mounted officer. Most of the enlisted crewmen are wearing tschakos.
