Description
This is a pair of shoulder boards for a leutnant who served in 2. Ober-Elsässiches Feldartillerie-Regiment Nr 51. This was one of the last prewar regiments which was raised and created in 1899. It was garrisoned in Straßburg I.e. They are of the sewn-in variety. Each bears the flaming bomb of the Artillerie and the numerals “51.” This was a Prussian regiment. The shoulder boards have been removed from a tunic and have been worn.
