This is a gorgeous bracelet that serves as a prime example of trench art patriotic jewelry. The bracelet’s central decorative portion is fashioned from a piece of an artillery shell’s driving band. Attached to it is an enameled 1914 Iron Cross. The cross is flanked by two branches of oak tree leaves. Above the Iron Cross is a wonderfully-crafted Hohenzollern Crown, complete with its flowing stole. The band section is made of mesh. It has a clasp and chain to secure it. The band and the center piece measure 8.” This is one of the more unusual patriotic bracelets that I have seen in awhile.
