Here is a photo album, measuring 9 1/4″ x 12 1/2,” that holds a total of seventy-two photographs. Fifty-five of them are related to naval activities. The remaining seventeen are, I believe, photographs of the owner’s family at home. All the naval photographs are in small-format (3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″). The photos include daily onboard and shore activities. After looking at many of the photos, I believe the photographer belonged to a minesweeper flotilla. Some photos of Cruisers or Battleships are also included. Nothing especially exciting appears in the photos. Each one tells its own story, however. They are well worth studying with a magnifying glass.
