This colorized postcard shows a British crew from a submarine on deck as they pass the H.M.S. Victory. The H.M.S. Victory was the flagship of Lord Horatio Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The Battle of Trafalgar was an epic battle in which Nelson was killed at the height of the battle and this battle was THE most important victory in the history of the Royal Navy.
