This postcard is of the Crown Prince of Prussia, Wilhelm. The image that appears on the postcard is from a charcoal sketch of Wilhelm. It shows him wearing the 1. Leib-Husaren-Regiment’s visor cap. He is associated with this regiment more often than any other. He is wearing his officer’s visor cap, which displays the regiment’s Totenkopf. The card’s reverse shows it was mailed as a Feldpostkarte from a Bavarian Cavalry Division’s regiment in 1916.
