Description
Friedrich von Waldeck-Pyrmont (1865-1946) was the final Prinz and ruler of the small Principality of Waldeck und Pyrmont from 1893 to November 1918. He appears in a general’s dress uniform. His tunic is bedecked with several neck orders, breast stars, and a large medal bar. The postcard was not mailed and was produced for a German veteran’s organization’s benefit.
