In this postcard we see a French family grieving for their family member, who has died in a hospital. A sheet has just been pulled over the deceased as a doctor and nurse look on somberly. Since it is a father and daughter who are mourning, it implies the zeppelin’s victim was their wife/mother. The French postcard is entitled “Triomphe de Zeppelin” (the zeppelin’s triumph).
