POSTCARD – KAISER WILHELM II – KAISERIN HERMINE – DAUGHTER-IN-LAW CECILIE AND HER TWO SONS – HAUS DOORN

$20.00

This is an interesting postcard that shows Kaiser Wilhelm II while he was living in exile at Haus Doorn in the Netherlands. The photo, taken in the garden, depicts Wilhelm II with his second wife Hermine, as well as the former Crown Princess Cecilie and her two oldest sons, Prince Wilhelm

and Prince Louis Ferdinand. Prince Wilhelm was an officer in the German Army during WW II. In 1940, he was killed while serving in France. I would guess this photo was taken in the 1930’s. It was not mailed.
