Description
This postcard comes from a charcoal sketch of Crown Prince Wilhelm (1882-1951). He is wearing 1. Leib-Husaren-Regiment Nr 1’s attila. He is also wearing that regiment’s schirmütze, complete with its Totenkopf. The postcard was published to collect funds to support blinded soldiers from the army and the fleet. It was mailed in 1915 as a Feldpostkarte from the Garde-Ersatz-Division.
