Kronprinz Wilhelm is seen in this postcard along with his wife, Kronprinzessin Cecilie (a former Prinzessin of Mecklenburg-Schwerin). Wilhelm and Cecilie were the most popular German royals after his parents, the Kaiser and Kaiserin. They are seen with five of their six children. He is in a cavalry regiment’s summer uniform, with a PLM (awarded August 1915) around his neck.
