This is a very fine postcard that shows the Crown Prince in the 1. Leib-Husaren-Regiment Nr 1’s uniform. He was photographed in this regiment’s uniform more often than any other with which he was involved. Here, he is wearing the regiment’s classic attila. Around his neck he wears the House of Hohenzollern’s Collar. The regiment’s schirmütze is cocked at a jaunty angle on his head. A Totenkopf appears between the state and reich’s kokarden on the schirmütze’s front, which was emblematic of the regiment and her sister unit, 2. Leib-Husaren-Regiment Nr 2.
