POSTCARD – MAILED TO BRESLAU-AREA CITY NEAR MANFRED VON RICHTHOFEN’S HOME
This postcard was mailed in 1903. It shows an upper-class home near Breslau, the region where Manfred von Richthofen was born. The von Richthofens’ ancestral home was located in that area. A message is written beneath the home depicted on the obverse.
The reverse reveals a series of three postmarks, one of which appears above a postage stamp. The recipient of the postcard was a noblewoman, perhaps a Freifrau (Baroness).
