Prinz Adalbert of Prussia was one of Kaiser Wilhelm II’s six sons. He was the only son with an active career in the Kaiserliche Marine. He is seen here in uniform prior to the beginning of WW I. He is wearing his Navy dagger. His visor cap and gloves are on a side table. A bend marks the postcard’s upper left corner. On the reverse, we see that it was mailed from Berlin in 1907, soon after Adalbert began his naval career.
