Description
This postcard shows a very young Prinz Wilhelm of Prussia. He was the oldest son of Crown Prince Wilhelm and Crown Princess Cecilie. He is playing with a small “army” of what appear to be troopers from the Regiment der Garde du Corps (complete with their parade eagles in place), men from the 1. Garde-Regiment zu Fuß (which the young prince himself later joined), and a cannon that sits on the floor. The young prince looks like a formidable soldier!
