Description
This postcard shows Prinzessin Viktoria Luise (1892-1980) who become the Duchess of Braunschweig in 1913 when she married Duke Ernst August (1887-1953). Beside her is her youngest brother, Prinz Joachim (1890-1920), the Kaiser and Kaiserin’s youngest child. He became depressed after his father’s abdication in 1918 and his divorce in 1920, and committed suicide.
