Description
This is a postcard for the S. M. S. Gazelle which was a Kleiner Kreuzer (Small/Light Cruiser.) She was the lead ship of her self-named class of ten ships built in the early 20th Century. The Gazelle saw little service in WW I and was scrapped in 1920. The postcard shows the vessel steaming along in profile. It was never mailed.
