Description
This postcard shows the S.M.S. Kronprinz. It was a battleship of the König Class. A total of four ships were in the class, all assigned to Battleship Squadron Nr 3. All four ships served at the Battle of Jutland. They were all damaged to some extent, but were able to return to port. All four were scuttled at Scapa Flow in 1919. The postcard was not mailed.
