Description
This is a postcard of Torpedoboot V-156. She was commissioned in 1908. She was the larger of two types of Torpedoboots, and was used for the fleet’s open water protection rather than coastal protection. She served in the Kaiserliche Marine, Reichsmarine, and the Kriegsmarine. The postcard depicts her in profile, underway and steaming hard. It was never used.
