Description
This is a postcard of Torpedoboot V-187. She was commissioned in 1911. She was the larger of two types of Torpedoboots, and was used for the fleet’s open water protection rather than coastal protection. She was sunk in the North Sea by British cruisers and destroyers on 28. 8. 14. She is seen in profile near some larger German ships. The postcard was never used.
