Description
This is a fine pre WW I enlisted man/NCO’s brass wappen from a line-infantry or artillery regiment. The wappen’s sunburst is gilt. The Kingdom of Saxony’s crowned Coat-of-Arms is silver-toned. On the reverse are the simple loops that passed through a pickelhaube or kugelhelm’s holes. A small bit of leather was then be inserted through the loop to keep it in place. It was simple, yet effective.
