This Attila is meticulously tailored from high-quality red wool that has aged beautifully over time. While it shares the distinctive red color with the Attila from the Leib-Garde-Regiment, the similarities end there. The Attila for Husaren-Regiment Nr 3 features white facings instead of yellow, and all the buttons are silver-toned, tightly secured in place. The white shoulder straps bear buttons with the number “1” denoting the 1st Eskadron, a great honor for the soldier assigned to it, as it was considered the finest in the regiment. It can be presumed that this Wachmeister achieved this rank and status after years of dedicated service.

The collar of the tunic showcases more white trim, complemented by silver buttons denoting the rank of Wachmeister. The reverse side of the tunic is equally exquisite, featuring elaborate designs.

Opening the tunic reveals a fine red silk interior, showcasing signs of age and use that add character to the piece. There is a small moth nip on the silk liner. However, the exterior of the tunic is in excellent condition, with only five small patches of minor moth tracking. This Attila is a dream piece, deserving of a collector who will appreciate and care for it with utmost devotion.

Immerse yourself in the legacy of the German cavalry with this extraordinary Attila for a Wachmeister in Husaren-Regiment Nr 3, a true testament to the dedication and honor of those who served.
