This is a superior-grade color print produced from an 1870/71 Franco-Prussian War-era original painting. The print measures 13 3/4″ x 12 3/4.” It is printed on heavy paper stock. The scene depicts a fort that appears to have been captured. It shows battle damage from the assault. Enlisted soldiers are standing on guard duty, and two officers are looking over the wall with binoculars.
