This is a superior-grade color print produced from an 1870/71 Franco-Prussian War-era original painting. The print measures 10 3/4″ x 17 1/2.” It is printed on heavy paper stock. The scene depicts a small town with farms outside the town’s boundaries. On a hill overlooking the town, two soldiers stand guard.
