PRUSSIA – MATCHBOX – FASHIONED FROM AN ENLISTED MAN’S BRASS BELT BUCKLE
This is a classic, trench art match safe. The match safe was created primarily from a prewar Prussian enlisted man’s belt buckle. The belt buckle center does not have any dents, which makes it an excellent example. It has a period matchbox in place. Even a striking surface has been added.
It is a winsome little reminder of a bygone era.
