Description
This is Sanke Card Nr 381, featuring Walter Höhndorff. He served as a pilot in several squadrons and jastas. He achieved a total of twelve confirmed victories in 1916, and received the PLM in July of that year. He was killed while testing an aircraft in September 1916. On this Sanke Card he is wearing the Pour le Mérite and the 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class.
