Martin Gerlich (1892-1920) rose to the rank of Hauptmann. He was assigned to a bombing squadrons during WW I. In this pose he is seen indoors. He is wearing a 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class and a Prussian Army Observer badge. This postcard was not mailed.
