SAXONY – WAR SERVICE CROSS
The Kingdom of Saxony’s War Service Cross was awarded during the years 1915 through 1918. The cross measures 1 3/4″ x 1 7/16.” The obverse features a crown at the top, a profile view of Saxony’s König Friedrich August III, and the year 1915. The reverse displays the King’s royal cypher flanked by “Welt” and “Krieg.”
The medal is in very fine condition, but lacks a ribbon.
