This is a letter opener that qualifies as a combination of a patriotic piece, as well as a piece of trench art. The letter opener’s overall length is 9 ½.” The handle is made from a jagged piece of shrapnel, which measures 3 ½” in length. A smooth Iron Cross that measures 1″ x 1″ is positioned between the blade and the handle. Its center has had letters or initials tapped into its surface on both sides. We have NO idea what they are, but they certainly look interesting! The blade itself measures 5″ from the Iron Cross’s bottom to the blade’s tip. It would look fantastic on your desk and help you open your mail in style!
