Description
This is the Steckkreuz (pinback cross) of the Honor Cross 2nd Class from the Prussian Land War Veterans Association (Bund). The cross measures 1 3/4″ x 1 3/.” It has white enameled arms and a gilt center with “Für Verdienst im Kriegerveriens Wesen.” Among the cross’s arms are the letters P. L. K. V. (Preußischer Landeskriegerverband). A swollen pin is on the reverse. The piece is hallmarked to a firm in Berlin.
