Description
This is a stickpin that features a re-creation of an enlisted man’s shoulder strap from Königl. Sächs 11 Infantry-Regiment Nr 139. This regiment was formed in 1887, and based at Böbeln. Before the war began in August 1914, the regiment was assigned to the XIX. Armeekorps.
The stickpin shows some age and wear to the obverse.
It is still a fine presentation of one of the later-formed Saxon infantry regiments.
