SWEDEN – POSTCARD – KING OSKAR II OF SWEDEN IN A NAVAL UNIFORM
This is a very rare color postcard of King Oskar II of Sweden. Oskar is historically important as he was one of six men granted the rank of Großadmiral in the German Navy. He was also the only non German to be so honored.
This pose shows Oskar II in the uniform and visor cap of the Swedish Navy.
The postcard is slightly larger than German postcards.
The postcard is in excellent condition and has never been mailed.
