Description
This is a very clean two-place medal bar. On the left we see a Friedrich August Medal in gold. [This was the Kingdom of Saxony’s Iron Cross equivalent. On the right is a 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class from Prussia. The medal bar was the property of a Saxon soldier. We can tell this because Saxony’s Friedrich August Medal takes the superior position on the medal bar’s left.
The decorations and ribbons are in excellent condition, and thus the medal bar also is in excellent condition. It sports a light-blue felt backing on its reverse.
